I got really sick of JUNK being a four letter word. I’m on a mission to prove what you see as Junk can really become something beautiful and useful in your home.
I run The Junkery out of a Knoxville Antique Store. I also take my show on the road to different events throughout the year. You won’t find a perfectly trendy “Home Tour” or step-by-step DIYs here but you will see some cool stuff and occasionally I’m funny…I think.
I like jeans, boots, fringe and turquoise but I like yoga pants, protein balls and Chacos too.
I love The Cadillac Three and Coffee. I believe Nashville is the motherland and for more reasons than you might think.
I got married at 19 and popped out a kid. And before you get all presumptuous, no one did not prompt the other and 12 years later I am still married to my baby daddy. My parental skills are questionable but I love my children to pieces.
I love Jesus but some days I just wish I was having a cold one with Kevin Costner at the Midnight Star Saloon. (Name that movie without The Google and we can for sure be friends!)
Goodwill half-off days are practically a holiday for me.
The rest of the story:
This is Keith (Baby Daddy) and my two overly adorable children (it’s ridiculous really). I openly admit I have a healthy addiction to yard sales, thrift stores and flea markets and an unhealthy one to caffeine. I work full time at muh Big Girl Job and try to be in the gym about three days a week. I have alot of help and an autoimmune disease, ya da ya da. The End.
p.s. If you made it this far, bless your heart.
